Christina was married last December in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Her husband Andy is an officer in the United States Navy and is underwater on a submarine for several months throughout the year. During his last patrol, Christina decided it would be fun to dust off her wedding dress to do a “Northwest” bridal shoot and surprise Andy with some photos.
Apart from being an obvious romantic, Christina is truly an incredible person. Christina and Andy live in Bremerton in order for him to be close to the Navy base. Since Christina works in Seattle, this requires her to take the ferry to the city every day. In total, her commute from home to the office and back is four hours a day. FOUR hours! Talk about dedication! Yet you will never hear this girl complain. She is one of the most caring, hard working and warm hearted people I have ever met. And she has the most infectious laugh you’ll ever hear!
Despite dealing with Seattle’s indecisive weather, Christina and I had a blast during her session at Golden Gardens. Looking at this first photo, I can just hear her laughter…
Isn’t she stunning?!
She is such a natural in front of the camera!
Golden Gardens is definitely one of my favorite Seattle locations to shoot at. There is so much variety in the surroundings – the water, the beach, sand dunes and greenery.
Christina, you are beautiful! I hope you and Andy enjoy these photos as well as the many laughter filled years still to come!
